So... the western liberals who openly protest against this are what, mince meat? Do you people even know what political terms mean anymore?
There's a huge movement on Lemmy to split anything and anyone opposed to fascism. They'll find any wedge they can to do so.
Wonder where it's coming from.
It's the same pattern as the original r/the_donald. At first it's all artificial, but then you attract some true believers which can be used as cover.
This narrative stifles dissent from anyone who disagrees with you. The Democratic platform attempts to reconcile a large tent of competing views. So we should not assume that criticism of "our side" is evidence of ulterior motives. We all need to demand more when we see our government failing so spectacularly.
Now it's "The Democratic Platform"?
