What Trump is doing, is not that much different than Reaganomics, though. He's still working on the premise that giving massive tax breaks to the wealthiest people in society, will "supercharge" economic growth. The only difference is that he is also offloading the country's actual tax burden, directly onto consumers instead.

What he's doing, is basically Reaganomics on steroids. It shifts the entire operating budget of the United States government from the wealthy, to the working class...and attempts to account for the difference in revenue, by cutting funding to literally all "nonessential services". "Nonessential" to the rich, that is. The rest of us can get fucked, for all he cares.

There's no logic beyond it than that.
