As someone who doesn't follow speedrunning outside of the occasional summoning salt video, what runs are worth watching our what are you all particularly interested in?

Games you've played before are definitely easier to watch and appreciate. But sometimes my favorite run at a GDQ is something I wasn't aware of before, and the run just pops off with good skill and commentary.

Super Meat Boy is always an impressive watch. Castlevania games, F-Zero, Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong.

Also if you wanna laugh, watch the "Awful Games Done Quick" block, starting with Superman 64 and ending with Kevin Costner's Waterworld
