Edit: i just got mine unpacked and altho it technically has a little bin+stainless steel scoop, ill probably use this random large rubbermaid/tupperware type container I found that happens to be the same volume as the required amount of water to make a batch so I can double dip :) it seems a little "gentile" to use in the freezer so I'll reserve it for making more batches which I will subsequenyly add to the store in the rubbermaid

What kind of container do you store all the output in? What do you use seperate from that as the actual daily driver container that you keep in your fridge freezer part

Been looking at ice boxes and buckets but they all seem to be for parties or like kept in the room which is not what i want

The ice maker produces ice cubes, dumps them into a bin, then refills the freezing portion. As the bin fills, a device of some sort, typically a lever with a paddle on the end, is pushed up by the rising ice. Once the lever reaches a certain height, the machine stops making new ice. When ice is removed, the lever falls and allows more ice to be made. There’s no need for a secondary container unless you need more ice than the maker has room for.

So it "comes with" (includes to the extent theres no need to seperately purchase) the storage bin to put in the freezer?

There doesn’t seem to be a rule against links if you’d care to share some of the ones you’ve been looking at.
