As a Son of The Revolution, that needs to be fixed.

Washington wasn't wrong when he cautioned against partisan politics. He said we shouldn't do it as he left office and that lasted all of an hour before we created the partisan politics that has been destroying us ever since. None of them knew that FPTP would be as detrimental as it is. That math wasn't done until the mid 1800s.

Washington was wrong about plenty of other things, but not that.

First past the post (aka winner take all) election system. It's one of the worst systems, but somewhat common. The US is a notable user of it.
