I made up my own Ozempic regimen, because it seemed to be working for me and I wanted to get off off it ASAP due to financial constraints. I never went past the 0.25mg/week that was prescribed to get started, and tapered off soon after reaching my target weight range.

The food noise did return 2-3 months after stopping Ozempic, but at a much manageable level, and I eat berries/fruits to handle it now.

It primarily helped me stop eating desserts after almost every meal and I've stuck with that change long after I stopped it. My alcohol and food consumption have gone down dramatically too.

Unchanged from before - half-assed strength training at the gym once a week, and some other form of physical activity like swimming or sports once/twice a week. I live in a functional city, so I walk a lot, bike at times, and rarely drive.

  • HbA1C was at a pre-diabetic level and has gone back to a safe level.
  • Probably a side effect of not drinking so much anymore- some liver test numbers look good now.
  • knees don't ache as much
  • TMI alert: I can now sleep through the night without waking up to pee multiple times. (Early thirties fwiw)

My mental health had improved a ton, but it went to shit after the layoff, and am still working on that. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I can fit into old clothes from uni again, does that count lol?
