Anthropic's apparent game plan:
JFC. I disapprove of all AI companies, but I struggle to gauge how awful Anthropic truly is.
I don't know. If we're going to look for the "least bad AI company", I'd have to go with Google (itself a self-contained shot show), because between Anthropic and OpenAI, plus the platforms leveraging them, what we have is a guaranteed eventual end of humanity. The worst part is that it won't be because they achieve a super intelligence that figures humans are the problem and goes all "Terminator" on us, but because this will expedite the destruction of the world economy, natural resources and potentially going haywire and firing all the nukes available.
