Finally! I haven't been able to use it due to problems with menus that stem from incompatibility with Wayland (...I think, it's been a minute). Been using Tenacity instead, which has been a decent stand-in, but it will be nice to be able to use the OG again.

Im on wayland and don't recall having an issue with audacity since i switched to Linux over a year ago fwiw. It's been a few months since i did anything serious with it but a year ago i did initially record ~100 hours of audio on it for a project

There was something weird with the menus locking up. I tried the pacman package and the flatpak, and both had the same issue.

It was a known issue that was going to be addressed via the v5 revamp, but I can't seem to find the original issue. Maybe it was a Qt thing, I dunno.
