It is also stupid, since you can very easily just wipe your skin with a washcloth and use a bidet, or something. Unless you are sweating like a crazy and covered in dirt, it is not that hard to clean yourself, without taking a shower, or full-body-underwater-bath. Just a bucket of water is a lot. "Aah oh noo evryone needs to shower thrice a day!!" no you do not - you need to stay clean. Taking a shower specifically, is a luxury.

Yes, it is incredibly stupid.

"You didn't take a shower? Your arm pits must STINK!"

  • "Well, I washed those with soap and water in the sink."

"That's DISGUSTING. You must stink."

  • "Well, no, what I'm explaining to you is that I washed my pits with soap and water, the same way I would if I were in a shower."

"I'm sure people are just too polite to tell you."
