And make an effort towards l8nux compatibility. Steams market dominance is strengthened via its proton layer and OS agnostic launcher. GoG Galaxy is windows only, and even titles with a linux build can't be run unless you use a windows compatibility layer for Galaxy.
Yes, I know it's possible, but that requires more hacking than what the average person is willing to go through when they can just install steam instead.
EGS is already getting linux compatibility.
In my scenario, maybe EGS launcher with a GoG coat of paint would be better? Honestly I like a more minimal launcher anyway.
Installing Heroic?
Keep in mind, this is not the average person but the average person that already made the switch to Linux.
