First tool ban is here! A new law was just signed in New York that requires blueprint blocking technology on every CNC machine, laser cutter, lathe and 3D printer. This affects everyone who makes, builds or fixes things. This isn't a firearms law. It's a manufacturing law. And they buried it in the budget because they knew exactly what it was.

This isn't CNC machine blocking, it is CAD shape blocking. You can just feed your CNC machine GCode you generated in any non internet connected toolpath generator. Or if you are desperate hand write your gcode, like the old days.

But yet wouldn't that still be a crime or a loophole that they will address. Like their anti worker regulation serves capital and capital is criminal and loves the criminal so.... we all who are not criminal are getting cornered all across the board and will be lumpined into the world of harsh punishments. Like speed cameras are not the solution but they do make a lot of money. Any changes is always for the benifit of capital. I have lived long enough to see the patterns.

I mean if they caught you machining gun parts yes, but CNC machines accept GCode from a text file or hand typed on the controller...they aren't stopping that.... Yet
