So many parallels with the dot-com bubble and so much FOMO.
But the computer hardware shortage / price skyrocketing caused by the AI bros is a really bad extra.
If this bubble bursts the hardware market will be... interesting to say the least
Wen consumer mainboards with HBM?
Afaik never (or at least not with the current versions) because HBM has to be directly connected to the GPU or CPU die via an interposer, it's not something you can slot into a mainboard.
I'm afraid you're right.
