I recently ordered some 4-5 oz leather and it came in a few days ago. This a side, which is one full side of a cow.
I will be making a few minimal wallets and notebooks to begin with. I think I'll need to order a leather splitter since this is slightly too thick for a lot of smaller items.
I will eventually make a weekender duffle but will probably purchase another side for that.
Which is the head end? I'm having trouble getting oriented.
The head is the bottom left with the back on the left and the belly on the right.
