~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags.

This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.

I absolutely love that in Deep Space Nine they had one episode where they go back in time to the TOS times with Worf in tow, they see Klingons there and acknowledge that they look significantly different.
They turned to Worf and said something in the lines of "Those are Klingons? They look so different! What happened?" And Worf just said "It's embarrassing. We don't like to talk about it"
That was the DS9 episode Trials and Tribble-ations (S5E6).
There was also a 3-part episode in ENT, offering some official explanation; Borderland / Cold Station 12 / The Augments (S4E4/5/6).

I don't like the actual explanation attempts. Everyone knows it's a stylistic update. Playing it for laughs is the best thing you can do about it.
But the line “Even my pet targ won’t recognize me!” is pretty funny.
