FediWriMo

This year I won't be using my Royal Futura 800 for my first draft like I usually do, I'll be using that $40 macbook pro I bought and restored just for this purpose. The second draft will be going through the Royal, though.

This year's story is different from my usual. I was challenged to step out of my Sci-Fi comfort zone, so I'm doing something entirely different!

Just a thought: I created this community very quickly without giving much thought to the name...basically because I was basing it on the NaNoWriMo2 website.

However, maybe it would be better to break away from the NaNoWriMo branding? I could make it more specific to our corner of the internet. I'm thinking maybe FediWriMo.

Let me know what you think below. Suggest alternate names, and if there is a good one with a lot of up votes, we can maybe go with that one instead (but no Boaty McBoatface type meme names, please...).

Welcome to the FediWriMo Community. This community is set up to encourage others to participate in continuing the tradition of NaNoWriMo, without the founders of the original organization's participation. This new competition was inspired by the NaNoWriMo2 website.
