Ik ik very basic but I'm super curious about getting a discussion going on favourite biscuits, for me it's fig rolls and jammy Dodgers

They look like sandwich biscuits but are meringue, not biscuit. They are crunchy like biscuits though. I've been thinking about this way too much. Thoughts?

Found these today in a middle eastern grocery in Bay Ridge (Brooklyn, NY, USA). I've been looking for palm-oil-free digestives for ages, so I was delighted to see these. The price was fantastic, just $2.29 (£1.70) for a sleeve of 28.

McVitie's Digestives (hereafter abbreviated MVD) have been my favorite for ages, but I'm not a fan of palm oil (bad for the environment and gives me heartburn), which they include.

I'm pleased to report I enjoy these more than MVD. The texture is less dense, with a more finely ground flour. There's a hint of caramelized flavor similar to that of Speculoos (it's a very subtle hint, though).

The sweetness level is slightly higher than MVD, but still qualities as lightly sweetened imo (I prefer light to medium sweet biscuits e.g. shortbread).

Effortlessly dunkable. A 3–5 second dunk provides good saturation while maintaining structural integrity. Tea flavor is mildly muted within the biscuit as with MVD. The mouth feel becomes soft but not sticky or gummy.

Tested with Harney Decaf Vanilla.

Are these common in the UK and EU? I saw that they're made in Spain, which is neat. Haven't seen them before in the US, but will be on the lookout now. (May have to source them while on work trips to NYC as I'm not hopeful I can find them in Pennsylvania.)

The knowledge of what these actually are, appears to have been lost to the ages. A modern tragedy equivalent to the burning of the library of Alexandria.

Cadbury unveiled a new range of limited edition Dairy Milk chocolate bars this month for summer that have a surprise when they are chilled in the fridge.

How would you feel about this tech being incorporated in biscuits?
