ARIA winning singer-songwriter Meg Washington has announced she is heading on a 23-date national tour of Australia in 2026.

If the Sniffers' guitars rang out over the city, there was "a very real risk of crowd crushes," according to the Event organizer.

Amyl & The Sniffers are back on home turf, opening AC/DC's first Australian shows in a decade, and have just announced a very special hometown show.

The revered pub-punks will tear up Federation Square this Friday 14 November in a free, one-night only performance proudly presented by Double J.

Severed Heads reformed on March 13 for one last show at Adelaide Festival and ABC Arts was there to record the moment.

Formed in Sydney in 1979 Severed Heads started their career cutting up tape and arranging soundscapes from loops of shortwave radio. While crossing over into the mainstream wasn't high on the band's list of priorities, they are still best known for their hit Dead Eyes Opened. For diehard fans, however, Severed Heads remain one of the most influential groups in the early industrial-electro music scene.
