Taoism is a religion though. Perhaps because you were coming from a traumatic Abrahamic faith experience it didn’t seem like it? But Taoism is very much a religion. And spirituality can be connected with in many forms. Faith isn’t reserved for the three major Abrahamic religions, but the western-centric view of this forum seems married to that as the only type of spiritual connection.
I knew this space has a toxic relationship with religion and spirituality and clearly equated my remarks immediately with Abrahamic religions trauma. It’s very sad. And it is clear many people will sit their whole lives with a gaping wound. The fact people can’t seperate their internal personal spiritual connections with external human-centric dogma is sad.

To those asking about the imbalance— it’s money. Just like older forms of media (print, radio, tv) there’s much deeper pockets for right-wing “funding” than on the left. And many left leaning outlets/personalities will turn down cash flows that might limit their control over their content. Follow the money. Always.
