Came here to say this. This is not news, it’s common knowledge from day one. People also seem to forget they were alphabetically killing families in the first weeks, annihilating entire family names starting with the A’s until it was called out.

The crimes committed in the name of its bigoted beliefs were despicable—hangings, floggings, mutilations, tarring and featherings, kidnappings, brandings by acid, along with a new intimidation tactic, cross-burnings. The Klan had become a clear threat to public safety and order.
An organized criminal syndicate “demonstrating” in Washington with impunity. Many members were police officers and government officials. I guess if you were white maybe you can afford this style of free speech. Today they’re embedded in ICE and kidnapping and disappearing people. People dying under mysterious circumstances in their custody. It’s good when they demonstrate unmasked so we know who they are. That’s the only benefit of this. Meanwhile people protesting genocide and protecting their neighbors are assaulted, jailed and drug through financial and professional ruin. But sure, it’s equal expression if you say so.
This advice is just cruel and it usually comes from drinkers who swear they don’t have any problem. I’ll spare you the novel— but be the most wary of those people especially if they’re “friends”. They care more about having a drinking buddy when it suits them than for your wellbeing.
Well, they’re about to sink the SS United States… I thought it was satire but it’s an actual thing they’re doing. They’re sinking it in Florida which seems fitting.

Yeah, selling your body to your government for a set period of time without freedom of movement is pretty much the same thing tbh.
It’s wild to me someone so close to the end of their natural life span, who hates their own children, is so hellbent on consolidating so much power and money. For fucking what? Because it’s not for his kids and grandkids. Just why? Why all the mayhem to stroke an elderly degenerates ego. This world is lost.

Too high brow. Most don’t care about nuance. People want stark visuals— which rolling heads of the aristocracy satisfy nicely. And it’s literally the only thing most people remember about the French Revolution.
I mean you’re absolutely not wrong in your observation, but it’s been adopted very successfully for its purpose. Certainly the noose, electric chair or lethal injection wouldn’t work nearly as well. Perhaps some pitchforks and torches, but then we’d just be degraded to a mere mob.
My personal favorite symbol is Orcas. My patron saints of climate and class justice. “Eat the rich(‘s wealth/yachts)!” Just out there protecting their families and leveling the playing field. And having fun while they’re at it.
