I'd heard about reMarkable but not sure if it's exactly a kindle competitor. Also uses e-ink but it heard more towards taking notes. Far as I can tell it created the segment that the kinda Scribe competes in.

To their credit though, it's a US company that is actually doing great stuff with laptop repairability. Hope Fairphone, tuxedo or others uses their designs to make their own modular laptops that are intercompatible

Proton pass has this functionality. You can also give it a separate password so if someone gets access to your proton email they can't get into pass

In the Netherlands there is Splitser which even has iDeal integration but never seen anyone else use it

Hopefully it'll get big enough they peripheral makes will finally make Linux native apps for their stuff. It's one of the biggest hurdles to me moving completely to Linux
