Note on the New Community

Hey everyone! It turns out we made a mistake in the community name. It's actually @tenacity@programming.dev.

We apologize for the confusion.

@tenacity@programming.dev

@TenacityAudio It seems like the mention didn't work on Mastodon's end. Guess the community profile hasn't federated enough quite yet.

Also the community icon might get a bit confusing. We'll update it a little later.

@TenacityAudio And if you reply to this post, it should appear as a comment.

This is why the #Fediverse is so cool. Interoperability at its finest!

Some testing with Mastodon and Lemmy

It appears that if one tags a Lemmy community, you can post to it that way. The first line of the post will also be the title. This seems pretty neat!

This is really just a testing post. If this works, it works. Otherwise, it doesn't. We'll see!

P.S: Parden the notification spam if you follow us. Apparently, if your first line is the community mention, it messes up the post's title. Just a part of the experimentation process!

@TenacityAudio

So a few things about the new Lemmy community:

  1. You may prefer @TenacityAudio over the URL we provided.

  2. Shortly after the community was created, before we even announced it, we instantly got 50 subscribers. Did the community spread that fast? Wow! ๐Ÿคฏ
