Americans clearly need to touch the stove and get burned before they understand what they've unleashed. It's regrettable but saving them from the consequences of their political decisions might be worse in the long term. We're at this horrendous point where things will have to get worse before they have a chance of getting better.

Arthur C. Clarke's Childhood's End wasn't fiction after all?

He thinks everyone of prominence takes their cues from cable TV when in reality it's just him. The constant projection from this disturbed imbecile is getting tiring.

Oh no, Canada doesn't get to negotiate with the most dishonest and malicious administration in US history. What a terrible loss. I'm sure there was going to be a major breakthrough any minute now if not for this. Fucking loser.

I really wonder how long it will take before a NATO member is forced to invoke article 5 for collective defense from the US. Seems inevitable at this point and it will mark a turning point in history.

Could end up being the effective end of the alliance. Putin would be so pleased.

How's that working out for you? And, more importantly, them?

Let me guess, you sat out the last election because of Gaza, didn't you?

Redwall by Brian Jacques. Introduced me to so many things like the fantasy genre, multi-book series, deep worldbuilding, archetypal races and probably way more. The food descriptions also stand out in my memory.

Haven't gone back to see how it stands up but I highly recommend it for kids whose reading level is improving and want to move up a tier in length/difficulty.

Just typical right-wing corruption. Keeping people dependent on cars is massively profitable. It keeps people poor and their paycheques flowing upward as the ruling class wants it. Canada being nothing but a few oligopolies in a trenchcoat.
