No, I tried both in the beginning and preferred Rawtherapee's layout. It sounds like Darktable is great too though

Ah I feel the same way about my own country sometimes too! We were mostly hiking in the Carpathians and ended up staying with a family in a village there. Another family took us out for the day to visit a monastery - lots of kindness and fun :)

Haha, yeah I still barely know what I'm doing with it 🙄 It's mostly been a process of poking things and seeing what happens!

Yeah, it has been really tough... I know - finally getting on with sorting it out now and have a long and expensive list from the dentist. Wisdom teeth are a curse!

Haha! That's really kind, thank you so much :) Hello from the UK! You live in a great country by the way - I visited a few years ago and absolutely loved it 👍

I come here for respite from the cynicism and darkness and would rather not see those kinds of comments. But I don't know about them being entirely removed in case they contain clarifications or context.

I think commenters should make more of an effort to reflect the tone of the community if they do feel the need to criticise the post and I think mods should put these kind of comments behind a filter like for nsfw posts.

It's never OK to judge someone on their physical appearance but if he was in a police lineup and you had no idea who the corrupt politician was...

Easy enough. You can also install QuillOS which an open source operating system for Kobos.

The bottom line is that people are accountable for their own actions and not the actions of others, and that's exactly how it should be.

The problem with that logic is that anyone can be let off the hook for immoral/illegal behaviour as long as they have said beforehand that they'll do it.

If I walk into a shop and tell the shopkeeper I'm going to rob them should I then get to take whatever I want with impunity?

I know what you're saying but:

If they abused her it is them who are responsible, not her.

Pretty straightforward.
