Kids may have knowledge but wisdom how to use it often comes when personal responsibility kicks in.
Like I do know how to do shenanigans. I've had that knowledge since I was kid. Now I won't do it as I'm acoountable for my actions and I can refer to what other people feel about them. So it's wise not to.
Arms race with drones will at some point produce really expensive shit we already have by the name of missiles and rockets.

They didn't. They keep evolving different way than human. Ape evolution is slow. We can't see it due to our preception of time. They just seem to exist as is and the gene pool is quite narrow.
