That’s a good one ☝️

I’ve been roasted last week for being sarcastic about this.

But I’m a slow learner and IDGAF, let’s do it again.

EU commission will do its thing no matter what.

Hopefully this particular community leans more towards privacy than boot licking…

More often than not it’s against commoner's benefits. And you can’t change that, we’re way past point of no return in Europe.

Yes, it was an experiment for me both on photography and coding.

I know JavaScript basics, wrote most of it but I realized that at some point you’re mostly driving the AI to enhance, rewrite your own code.

That’s why I made it clear in the source repository on Codeberg that there is AI coding.

Plus all pictures except the photo of my revelator bottle are generated. I don’t know any better about drawing.

With that said I made a point to use human sound effects and music, and give all attributions.

I use a sturdy tripod, the camera doesn’t move or drift between takes.

The lens is set to f5.6 as a rather delicate balancing between the light source, shutter speed and ISO settings. I would prefer f8 but it is not ok

I do hit the camera with my arms and hands from time to time, then I redo the focus but that is on me.

Both country can benefit from. Is that an inside joke or something ?

Hello there

I just received a TTArtisant 40mm macro for my Fuji XM-1, much needed to scan negatives.

The focus ring is slow and need quite some efforts to turn. Probably best for precision and not sliding out of focus.

But the mount has a quite a lot of play. It rotates following the focus ring adjustments, which, in turn, mess with the focus… It fit nicely flat on the body but this angular free play is annoying.

Anyway I need a macro lens, and can’t afford $600 for a genuine Fujinon X mount Lens…

Does anyone also have TTArtisan manual focus lenses ? How does they fit ?

I am tempted to send it back, can’t decide. Any advices ?

Bye

[Edit] thanks for all replies, the lens is sent back.

On en est là ? fin 2025 tout va si bien en France qu'on doit absolument s'occuper de remplir un formulaire, fournir des photos et payer une taxe pour les hamsters, les petits oiseaux et autres NACs... 🙃

Hello there,

I just watched this episode on Karin Majoka’s YouTube channel, I think you may appreciate it too.

Dedication of the Kamerastore crew is amazing.

I don’t know how she keep being so calm in there, I would disappear for a month in this store and open every box and folder 🤩

Hello there

I’m looking at additional footrests for relieving knees.

There are tons of cheap footrests that stays deployed open, I want something that closes automatically, or with a pinch of the foot maybe.

As they make the bike rather large when deployed, and it’s easy to get caught on something.

Any recommendations please ?

Instructions unclear as usual

Can’t resist to share this short

Out of the box 8111 Iron ranger. A timeless classic.

Pretty stiff everywhere: sole and leather take time to fit, but don't harm.
