but if you're a developer or systems engineer who sees your OS as a critical part of your toolkit—one that should be as reliable and version-controlled as your code—then the tough road of NixOS is absolutely worth it.

Is the value added benefit to other systems with regards to the cost really worth it? Btw, I love home manager because it is easy to use (I haven't had problems so far).

I get what you mean. Ther focus is different of dawarich. I'm really forward in checking reitti out!

That looks very neat. Thanks for starting this!

I guess this will directly compete with dawarich, right?

I log my position every 5 seconds for years and gpslogger is not among any of the battery consuming processes if you use the device. If you don't use the phone at all, it will consume more power but that's no reason not to use it.

I can't speak for your field or language but someone has to upload it. Content in German and about grammar sounds very specific. Maybe there's a lack of interest on scihub. Ask around in your circle where they share/get their articles

Why not avif?

It's a neat idea to over-cool in order to reduce consumption later on!

Your probably right, you can't catch each bug I guess

As an economist I can confidentally say that he should go a different route. You/ he can show me/us more if he wants to. Maybe we can tell where the problem is.

If not, swap as others have stated is the way to go

Immich is still unstable. This shouldn't happen to a stable project.

What it tells me is that you need a regular backup

That's understandable but do we need it now? Neither pv nor batteries last forever. I'm just not sure if we need them now (or short-medium term future). But I'm not in the position to decide upon it

Do you have a source for the cooling off effect of the duck curve?

Following is a 2 year old article hinting an increase in the effect https://www.powermag.com/epri-head-duck-curve-now-looks-like-a-canyon/ afaik it hasn't changed much but I'm open to news
