Unfortunately, a lot of places are...

Safety and survival are the top priorities, so the furthest from "actually trying to kill you" is ideal IMO. But getting to another country is easier said than done, so its get going to where you can be as safe as you can. If that's Portugal, do it. If its a blue city in a blue state, do that. If its surviving on a homestead and avoiding all contact possible... Thats still an option.

One of my friends is planning to go to Toronto for an "extended work trip" her boss is arranging.

I really fucking hate this stupid timeline.

Clearly! Hopefully you'll be driven away!

To Canada, Portugal, or maybe Malta. Which apparently all have very strong protections for transgender folks. Malta apparently combines that with no murders of trans persons from 2008-2022.

(Stay safe please)

Much more like it!

Still not anywhere near that maga territory though, gotta get all that on one car, plus some paint jobs for permanence and that flag pole needs to be permanently mounted to be remotely close to... Even 2016 maga.

But a much better attempt than I have seen before! Well done.

Their car:

Thats all removable.

Edit: To be clear, I mean that doesnt even survive rain. Its soap. And tape. Not a sticker, not a paint job, and not even a single flagpole!

Closer! But not remotely near what maga territory looks like.

Their costume

A hat and a T-shirt... Still seems a little bit like just regular stuff you see at a rally or convention...

Their every day wear:

Ah, t-shirts again. Not a vest with 80 patched on it that say Kamala, no coverage in ridiculous flags...hell, no Kamala tattoos in sight!

Sorry, none of that is remotely close yet. I appreciate the effort though!

I've seen houses set up the same way and clothing merch with all the nonsense

Really? I haven't. Not once.

Should be easy to share a picture demonstrating that then, right?

Something like:

Edit: The last time I asked this question, I was shown a tshirt, a hat, and a banner about Gavin Newsom poking fun at Trump, as three separate photos. The T-shirt wasn't even on a person.

If its so common, surely there must be some pictures.

If I search for "maga house", "maga car", "maga outfit", etc, I will get a very specific set of images. Pages after pages of them.

Can you please demonstrate equivalents of what this "blue maga" looks like for those searches?

Thats a really silly take for "No, MAGA was never cool, admirable, or intellectually honest and a meme suggesting that is pretty ridiculous".

The sad thing about it is that list started around the Kavanaugh hearings, and the list was about 10-15 pages from the jump.

Iirc it started with an accusation of democrats being "just as bad", which turned into "OK, you make a list of democrats, I'll make a list of republicans". Obviously there were a few democrats, but the list for republicans outpaced from the start, and just keeps growing.

Its just going to get worse with everything else going on, too.

People they didnt like.

Thats it. They assumed anyone on the list would be further left of them, and potentially part of a demonic cult.

This obviously ignores the long history of republicans committing sex crimes, currently up to part 57. They don't read that though. They just assume they are right, because its what they've been told by the only people they listen to/parrot.

Of course not, republicans don't hold the senate or the governors seat.

Whether or not its realistic or functional has no real impact on a bill passing.

A proposed bill in Michigan has a broad reach that covers everything from adult AI content to manga and even depictions of transgender people. It includes a VPN ban to avoid workarounds.

On Sept. 11, Michigan Republican representatives proposed far-reaching legislation banning adult internet content.

The bill, called the Anticorruption of Public Morals Act and advanced by six Republican representatives, would ban a wide variety of adult content online, ranging from ASMR and adult manga to AI content and any depiction of transgender people. It also seeks to ban all use of VPNs, foreign or US-produced.

The Anticorruption of Public Morals Act has not passed the Michigan House of Representatives committee nor been voted on by the Michigan Senate, and it's not clear how much support the bill currently has beyond the six Republican representatives who have proposed it.

TL;DR: 6 Republicans in Michigan proposed a bill that won't pass, as the Senate and Governor are Democrats.
