If they can already rule out glaucoma, which is the n⁰1 cause of blindness, then that's at least something very positive. Retina should be checked as well (OCT), but they probably did already.

Well, in my case it's high pressure, which can also lead to blindness. But it's being treated and hopefully will stay stable for a while, there's no real cure for these things.

I'm no stranger to ocular health issues myself, so I hope you're in good medical hands, they can do a lot these days! I wish you the best and also a successful migration!

Gee, that's kinda disappointing to hear, as I've specifically curated things such that users should be able to merrily browse content all the way back to day one. Is it tedious because of the stuff you're seeing which simply doesn't interest you at all, or..?

By the way, I really like your writing style, it's very refreshing in this current age of Al generated trash.

I'm new to lemmy and this community. Currently using Voyager. I can search throught the +500 posts with keywords, which is great. Jerboa does not seem to have this search function. I hope the content will remain available like this as I thought that was the whole point of lemmy. I'm not sure how else I can interact with it. Browsing would be tedious, but a randomizer could be useful, if that were possible.
