Batteries usually hold up long enough, unless you're looking at 10+ year old cars.
The real issue is that the mechanics have no clue on what to check at the annual services, so they'll let people down on the brakes, suspension, ball joints and AC fluids long before any warning lamp ever lights up on their computers. These things are assumed to break even when following the manufacturer guidelines.

It's usually irrelevant to focus on the "competition".
In business, it makes no sense to focus on the 1% of the population who buys your competitors products instead of yours, because you're not addressing the 98% who is not buying either.
The same is true about US politics: The majority are not left or right; They are not voting at all. Claiming that the shooter is either side will be wrong more often than it is true, because there's only 25% chance of guessing it.
Who even knows if it's politically motivated? 4 children were shot at a school simultaneously as the Krik shooting. Nobody asked about the political reasons for that.

Jeg har ofte set tårnet når jeg er ude at køre. Man kan jo se det på lang afstand. Det står på en bakketop og var på et tidspunkt Danmarks højeste menneskeskabte punkt (bakke+tårn). Det er nu reduceret til Danmarks 21. højeste punkt.
I dag var jeg i omegnen, alene og med tid til at køre forbi. Jeg missede først adgangsvejen, fordi jeg kiggede efter en asfalteret vej, og måtte derfor køre lidt rundt gennem marker og skov af typen hvor man forventer en skeløjet banjo spiller. Jeg mødte dog kun en ældre kvinde som blev forskrækket over min bil, fordi hun gik midt på grusvejen med høretelefoner på, og jeg kom i elbil, men vi vinkede alligevel glad til hinanden, som man jo gør når man kommer med fred.
Jo, det er højt. Jeg blev nærmest svimmel af at kigge op på det. Billedet er taget med negativt zoom på telefonen for at få det hele med. Det svarer vel til en slags fiskeøje effekt, men det kunne simpelthen ikke være på skærmen ellers.
Det er alligevel forunderligt at tænkte på at stort set alt i Danmark, hele horisonten rundt, befinder sig under toppen af tårnet. Paradoksalt nok, på trods af højden, så gav det mig et bedre indtryk af hvor fladt vores land er.
