Normal News:
Concerned and somewhat worried.
Mostly official-statement- and fact-driven. But that's normal German news culture (at least compared to the US and if you stay away from the fringe tabloid style media).

Social media:
I guess, that depends heavily on your bubble, as everywhere...
In the parts I am present in, it is source of constant amusement, as the events in the US and the views expressed by US people are just completely ridiculous to the more liberal part of Germany.
But this is probably different for the right wing bubbles, like that of AfD supporters.

This article is telling BS.
It's not Chrome's Java engine (l don't even know if there is any...), but Javascript and WebAssembly.

That's a huge difference, those two are used everywhere, and that's the actual reason why basically everyone is potentially in danger!

Also, quick reminder:
Using an Adblocker is a security feature, as it already blocks most of the questionable domains.
Additional white-listing script blocker increases that active security.
And another reminder: Chrome is not the best basis for these. Firefox generally rules again nowadays...

Now think about how many actual homeless persons are dying because of things like this without making the news...

Sums up and confirms my impression of this.

You have some autocorrect typo there:
"That's all I was singing when I saw the hole."

So, is this a good or a bad message for climate change?
On the one hand, it could point to man-made CO2 currently emitted being even higher than we think (as less is contributed by the warmed up soil), which would be bad.
On the other hand, this might reduce the risk of yet another runaway scenario where higher temperatures lead to higher emissions, again leading to higher temperatures (like there is for soils in cold climates and methane emissions).
So, although I am just now not sure how to interpret the results, still a very interesting study!

You are propably joking, but mandatory Al-Transmogrification to some standard character before review might actually be a beneficial idea in such a scenario!

Bisschen traurig, so allein im Alter...
Sind ja normal eher soziale Herdentiere.

To give a crucial bit of information:
This is not about essays written during tuition, but application essays that are the decision basis for gaining admission in the first place.

This is bad, as there is a significant chance of aspects influencing the decision, that should have no significance.
Think of gender, color of skin, looks, voice,...

Not quite powder, more like tiny, porous granules.

Freeze dried garlic, by far.
Propably even tops pepper and occassionally also salt.
