He also ordered the doj to open a new investigation which allows his doj to bar any release of the files related to an “open case.” His followers have to be irredeemably brainwashed to accept this.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said House Republicans should vote to release the files in the Jeffrey Epstein case, a startling reversal after previously fighting the proposal as a growing number of those in his own party supported it.

“We have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party,” Trump wrote on social media late Sunday after landing at Joint Base Andrews following a weekend in Florida.

Trump’s statement followed a fierce fight within the GOP over the files, including an increasingly nasty split with Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who had long been one of his fiercest supporters.

So if Trump directs the doj to open an investigation, it shields him from any more files released?

They opened an investigation because:

But the newly announced criminal investigation could give the Justice Department a new justification to resist turning over files — or convince some lawmakers to back off. Generally, the department resists giving Congress files during an ongoing criminal investigation because any public release could jeopardize the integrity of the probe or any resulting criminal case.

President Donald Trump said Friday he will ask Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s ties to many other high-profile figures, in an extraordinary step that comes just days after Democrats released emails from the late Epstein that mention him.

Trump announced the directive in a Truth Social post that accused Democrats of trying to revive attention to his past ties with Epstein, contending they are “using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures.”

“I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him,” Trump wrote.

The move represents the president’s most significant effort yet to discredit the push by Democrats and some Republicans to release all of the Epstein case files, and to divert focus away from himself.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A confidant of Bill Pulte, the Trump administration’s top housing regulator, provided confidential mortgage pricing data from Fannie Mae to a principal competitor, alarming senior officials of the government-backed lending giant who warned it could expose the company to claims that it was colluding with a rival to fix mortgage rates.

Emails reviewed by The Associated Press show that Fannie Mae executives were unnerved about what one called the “very problematic” disclosure of data by Lauren Smith, the company’s head of marketing, who was acting on Pulte’s behalf.

“Lauren, the information that was provided to Freddie Mac in this email is a problem,” Malloy Evans, senior vice president of Fannie Mae’s single-family mortgage division, wrote in an Oct. 11 email. “That is confidential, competitive information.”

If you read his book The Technological Republic, he calls for a « collectivist » ideology and the merger of corporation and state. A few historical examples to choose from would be Fascist Italy, Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia or Communist China to get an idea of his vision for America’s future.

Reality is a simulation is an unfalsifiable claim, it can only be taken on faith, belief. Bootstrapping scientific theories to « prove » that claim is demonstrably pseudoscience. I’ve put too much time and energy engaging with this already.

Argument from Incredulity

"If the laws of our reality as we perceive it are telling us that the odds are nearly infinite to one that our consciousness should be in a state of non-existence, why do we believe that to be true?"

False Dilemma

"We need to make the distinction between the logic of the notion 'I think therefore I am' and the empirical observations of the reality around us."

Appeal to Possibility

"Especially when we consider that it is certainly logically possible for reality to be an illusion..."

Cherry-Picking

"...considerable evidence that is such (the probability argument of Bostrom's Simulation Hypothesis, Dr. S. James Gates' discovery of computer code in the equations of supersymmetry physics, and the double slit experiment, etc)."

Bostram’s Simulation Hypothesis is a philosophical thought experiment, not empirical evidence, Dr. Gates' work involves mathematical structures in physics, not literal "computer code" proving a simulation and the double slit experiment demonstrates quantum behavior, not that reality is an illusion.

False Analogy

"That's why I use the example of loading sentient artificial intelligence into a video game world. They can create a science to explain the logic of that, but none of that logic applies to the truth of their existence."

Conflating Epistemology and Ontology

"The logic behind it is as follows: if the laws of our reality as we perceive it are telling us that the odds are nearly infinite to one that our consciousness should be in a state of non-existence..."
