Because then they would have to live in it, and would theoretically stop burning it down.

I don't know if "best" feels right, but I can see the upside. Of course, then they'd be immortal overlords, and that probably wouldn't go well either.

I've never worked with a junior developer that was worse than AI is now. It's often confidently wrong and can do so much damage, all while winning the politics battle without trying.

Cooling in space is actually much harder, without a medium to carry the heat away. I believe I saw an idea of a 4km x 4km solar array? Hilarious. Also any sort of maintenance would be blindingly expensive.

They'd be better off collecting solar power on smaller arrays and beaming it to floating data centers on the ocean.

If, you know, we weren't already cooking the ocean and shitting the air and globally sliding into fascism. Oops!
