That's good to know about the tags working in some of the apps now, I'll have to check Sync to see if they work there too. If it's working fine in Voyage I'll just go to that for my phone, still prefer Sync on a bigger screen.

TL,DR: Hopefully they talked before this and did it together, otherwise it could to be a slobberknocker at Mania.

Living up to your legendary father has to be hard, but she is really not living in his shadow, she is becoming his shadow. She uses Ric's moves, has a remix of his music, does his woo and taunts. For somebody that didn't want to be in his shadow she has adopted his entire persona. I was starting to feel some empathy for her, that interview with Sherri (I think) was enlightening to how hard things seem to have been for her with this last year's injury and divorce. Yet, she came back, same old same old, and sure not entirely her fault, at least I assume, but she's beyond stale.

As to this segment, well who's shocked, remember the whole belt drop incident that appears to be because she didn't like the way it was to happen. If you believe that lie it was an accident go back and watch it again, she snatches it away and then drops it to the mat while almost on the verge of laughing.

So then this segment with Tiffany, the crowd broke her, by turning on her and backing everything Tiffany did she "lost her smile," and went to middle school taunt mode, making fun of Tiffany's voice, claiming she's sexting Kaiser, it's just childish and I don't blame WWE for editing it out. I'm not letting Tiffany off the hook, Charlotte was just on TV explaining how hard that divorce was on her mental health, which is serious, and she pulls out those lines, oof, I can see how that could hit hard.

Overall though, this was clearly more entertaining than whatever they were scripted for and it's led to an outpouring of talk about his match that was on the verge of being a "who cares" match earlier this month. I just really hope they discussed this backstage together before hand, otherwise this match may go hard because both sides have some receipts to give.

I'd just like to shoutout Kaiser's response to Charlotte, posting the clip of HBK telling Diana Hart-Smith... "Do. Not. Flatter. Yourself."

2025 is straight out of hell or we all died and went to purgatory together.

They didn't buy Vizio because they like TV's, they did it because they like data harvesting. They are an advertising tech bro giant, just more quiet about it.

Spoilers for Smackdown, everything indicates this is real and not a part of the story, of course in this new world who knows.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

TitleKevin Owens, who last wrestled at the 3/1 Elimination Chamber PPV, announced on tonight's Smackdown that he has been dealing with a neck issues for four months and it was finally determined he would need neck surgery.

It was announced he would miss Wrestlemania 41 and his match against Randy Orton at the PPV is off.

More as we confirm.

Source: PWInsider

Late Night Update

TitleTo respond to the MASSIVE amount of emails we have received since Smackdown went off the air, all accounts that we have heard is that the neck issues Kevin Owens spoke about in his promo are 100% legitimate.

One WWE source described the situation as "awful", noting that Owens is expected to get surgery as he mentioned in the promo.

Another source said the word among talents tonight was that Owens was looking at fusion surgery in the future.

There's no word if and when Owens could return.

For those who have asked if the announcement was a work, the reaction among those we've spoken to in the company has been sympathy and sadness for Owens, not that this was storyline.

Personally, I hope he comes back better than ever and somebody in the office, Tony, remembers what this guy was doing in NJPW and books him better. But, I felt the same way last time he was injured, so what do I know.

They're the Same Picture - Booker T & Jerry Lawler

I was saving this for a post about my opinion of Booker T's over the top perviness on NXT commentary, but it feels like it fits here just as much.

This guy would get future endeavored so fast his hot wife will leave him again if he tries that in TKO's WWE.

I'd argue waiting so long into this generations cycle doesn't help with sales, if you wanted the Xbox exclusives you've likely already bought them on PC or got a Series S/X by this point.

I'm a big fan of the World Title goes on last, unless it's the Rumble, I get why they might not want to go that route, because Gunther and Jey Uso feels more like a mid to upper-midcard match. Not necessarily their fault when the story has been bland, that's on creative.

Yet, This triple threat match would still have been my opener, a decent match but outside of Rollins it's an older fella and a Part-timer, big stars all of them, but it's not my must watch and pay good money for this match-up. You get some big stars out first, a match you know will be decent storytelling and have Paul Heyman ready to pop at any second because he still owes Punk a favor, it's a good crowd pumper, IMO.

I'm also not big on John Cena and Cody, but I'm hoping but not betting on Cena to get that big win on Night 2.

I know a lot of you are super anti-Punk, and I get that, but WWE metrics show he's still a big draw with the crowd that can afford tickets and merch which I assume is why he got put in this position.

Rollins hates Punk, very vocal about it, Punk then eliminates Rollins and Reigns at the Rumble, Rollins loses it and attacks both Reigns and Punk. Fast forward to the WWE MSG RAW and Rollins and Punk are having a cage match, Rollins just can't put Punk down even after 2 or 3 curb stomps, Reigns comes out and curb stomps Rollins (All three SHIELD members did curb stomps during shows this week, it was kind of cool.) while Paul Heyman is checking on Punk, Reigns attacks Punk with a spear. Fast forward to some segments where they all just can't stand each other and can't coexist without chaos breaking out, They make a match, this leads to this segment where Punk gets added to the Reigns Rollins Mania match because Reigns and Heyman put him in by a clause in the contract.

Really makes Punk look like a chump, he finally gets his Mania main event, but it's because God Emperor Reigns has allowed it to happen.

PWInsider: PCO-TNA

PCO is done with TNA.

PWInsider: Jordynne Grace-TNA

Spoiler Title

TNA Genesis was Jordynne Grace's final night with TNA.

The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble event will emanate from Saudi Arabia, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources in the company.

We are told the deal to take the event to Saudi is locked in and that an official announcement could come as soon as this Monday's Raw Netflix premiere.

Personally, I'm not happy about this if it's true.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW ARCHIVES LEAVING PEACOCK By Mike Johnson on 2024-12-04 11:46:00

Chris H sent word that Peacock is now listing that every single episode of WWE Raw from 1993 to 2024 will be removed from the streaming service at the end of the month.

Obviously, Raw moves to Netflix in January. Whether/when the Raw archives follow remains to be seen as nothing has been announced in that regard.

Either stuff is heading to Netflix or the network idea is dead everywhere.

Baron Corbin's X-Twitter

PWInsider with the rest.

Baron Corbin

Corbin, a former NFL star and Golden Gloves boxer, 40, was signed to WWE in 2012 and was part of the initial WWE NXT Black and Gold roster that helped kick off that brand's WWE Network era. He was brought to the main roster with an Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal win at Wrestlemania 32. He held the United States title and had several character changes over his run from a Lone Wolf badass, to a sad, broken comedy character that morphed into "Happy Corbin" after hitting it big in Las Vegas. In recent months, Corbin was billed as a free agent and returned to NXT as a veteran working with the younger talents. He was more versatile than given credit for and was a good utility player for the company in that he filled any role they tasked him with.

Indi Hartwell

Hartwell, 28, signed with WWE in 2019 and was most memorably a member of The Way with on-screen husband Dexter Lumis and adopted "parents" Johnny Gargano and Candice LaRae in NXT. She was brought to the main roster in 2023. Her final match for the company, teaming with LaRae, will air on tonight's Smackdown.

Indi Tweets

Tegan Nox

Nox, 29, signed with WWE in 2017 but tore her ACL during the Mae Young Classic tournament that year. She made her main roster debut for WWE in 2021 but suffered another torn ACL. She was released in 2021 but brought back in 2022. She last wrestled for the company this past July.

Tegan/Nixon Tweets

PWInsider

That states these are the only three that were going to be released today.

Six former writers for the organization’s long-running shows SmackDown! and Monday Night RAW describe bullying and sexism behind the scenes while former CEO Vince McMahon was in charge

“Everybody was getting yelled at all the time in the room,” one former writer says. “It was more saying shit that was humiliating or mean [that was then] couched as a joke, but it’s a nasty joke.” The writer adds, “If you’re being targeted in the room, nobody stands up for you, but that’s because if they do, they will get the bullet in the head, too. You don’t stick your head up out of the foxhole for anybody, because nobody wants to take a bullet.”
