How many straits are there? I thought it was just the one?
There are 9 critical straits: Strait of Hormuz, Strait of Malacca, Suez Canal, Bab el-Mandeb, Panama Canal, Strait of Gibraltar, English Channel, Turkish Straits, Danish Straits.
Yet I keep hearing the term "straits of Hormuz" and it's giving me a rash.
