I hate this because "species" is more specific than "order". It should have been, eg, "...not even my phylum!" (Because "class" would be confusing and not funny, and "phylum" is still accurate in all respects while being a funny word.)
Phrasing should be “I don’t think this is my order, much less my species.”

If it's relaxing, I think you're doing it wrong. Which, more power to you.
Depends to what kind of church you go to. There are really nice old churches in Europe and even when they have a mass it is pretty relaxing, because European church service is much more boring than it is in most churches in the US I'd think. Basically just a person speaking in a monotone voice for an hour and sometimes everyone sings slow, monotone songs.
