From Google: A lightning bolt symbol is notoriously used to signify hate. The Nazi Schutzstaffel (SS) used two parallel lightning bolts derived from a pre-Roman runic alphabet.
That SAID- They typically use TWO lightning bolts, but it was a very odd choice to use lightning for that particular like... Brand, I guess.

I just find it hilarious that Vikings are famously known for targeting and killing Christians. They weren't nice about it either. Blood eagle was a particularly vile way to go out.
