Why not? River Song met the 10th, 11th & 12th Doctor.

I expect the new show runner (I'm speculating a new show runner) won't want to utilize characters they didn't create, but who knows. Or maybe he'll make an appearance in the holiday special (and Ncuti will pop back in as well).

You'd think they learned their lesson when Starz did it to Torchwood. It strips out a lot of the charm.
