If they had the decency to admit the horrors when they happened I might take the tankies a little more seriously. But most of them are in constant apologia and denial mode.

I'm pretty sure some of the tankies are genuinely paid troll. The level of gymnastics, spins and gaslighting they make is something that a trained PR person is proficient at. I noticed this way back in Reddit.
