I actually started up this Beam Saber game because I was losing My GM groove. I got kicked out of the Draw Steel game I was playing in, and it was really disappointing. I wasn't having fun anymore when I GMed Draw Steel. So I told My players, "One of you runs something, or we play Beam Saber." And now we're playing Beam Saber! The lesson? Switch it up when you're feeling off, and don't be afraid to ask your players to run something.
