Introductions may or may not be a thing here. This is my first post. Over the past half-century, I must have done one thing you'd like. My favorites are Hendrix, Cream, CSN from the 60s, Miles Davis etc from the 70s, Brecker Brothers from the 80s (?) and way too much from then on.

My absolute favorite classical music piece. Although it's called the "Devil's" Trill Sonata, I can find so much of what I assume it means to be human. The internal struggle that plays out throughout the piece is like a person trying to find a reason to be happy, trying to find a reason for their struggles, or trying to find some closure in life. The piece modulates through so many emotions that I felt throughout depression and anxiety, but ultimately ends with a tone of finality, which I find very comforting. Although I'm healthy, now, I still listen to the piece religiously, albeit due to how human the piece feels to me and the sense of closure and release I get throughout the piece and in the end. I love to listen to while looking back on all my worries, struggles, and anxiety, eventually letting everything vent as the song ends and the Trill sounds. This is a great piece.

Black Country, New Road is definitely at the forefront of the indie scene right now, and this is their first release since the replacement of their lead singer following their second album. I feel they absolutely knock it out of the park despite these hurdles.

"And if we look at the works of J.S. Bach - a benevolent god to which all musicians should offer a prayer to defend themselves against mediocrity - on each page we discover things which we thought were born only yesterday, from delightful arabesques to an overflowing of religious feeling greater than anything we have since discovered. And in his works we will search in vain for anything the least lacking in good taste." This is how the French composer Claude Debussy (1862-1918) refers to Bach. Only the uninitiated can see this description as an overstatement: once you delve in Bach's music, you can only "listen, play, love, revere — and keep your trap shut" - as Einstein famously said. A continuous strive for perfection in form, order (i.e. κόσμος), and plain beauty is what characterizes every work of the Cantor, literally making it of cosmological grandeur. The English Suites are no exception: a monumental, incomparable, sublime collection of pieces of unimaginable invention and brilliance. Playing even just one movement from the no. 2 turned out to be an insurmountable challenge for me, as I'd argue their difficulty is superior to e.g. a Chopin étude: an almost inhuman degree of ne plus ultra and precision is imperative for their correct performance. Having with all probability failed in this endeavour, I'm only contenting myself of playing it as a divertissement, in the hopes that it acts as an inspiration to some of you ^_^

Just a quick song I made with LMMS and then used Stable Diffusion Deforum to generate the video with custom parameters to get audio sync to beat working.
