I have been trying to let people know about this and to find out more about what's going on.

What law brought crypto into unclaimed assets?

How long has this been going on?

For me personally, I wasn't able to log in since 2023. Finally got in this year and saw in 2025 they gave me a notice they would take funds out. This was after seeing coins sent out of my Coinbase account with no wallet address or merchant listed.

So during the fraud process with support I looked for a phishing email. The chat support seemed to not know what was going on due to anti money laundering regulations.

Coinbase reached out to me when I posted about it on Reddit.

I think, it's a Colorado issue though. Not that I haven't had issues with Coinbase in the past.

It's always discouraging to see businesses or local governments that use "AI" images in their branding. I think it looks lazy, like "whatever, nobody cares." Plus, there's lots of talented artists in Denver who'd be happy to work on a company's signage or advertisements.

Good to see other writers and artists keeping the focus on the human.

The city council in Denver is considering a proposalthat would curtail the city’s right to retain volunteered information about its citizens, particularly with regard to gender identity. The proposed ordnance, championed by Bread and Roses Legal Center director Z Williams, would “[reduce] unnecessary sex/gender documentation and record keeping,” prevent city resources from being “weaponized” against transgender people, and prohibit the city from sharing information that would “advance investigations which target trans and gender expansive people.”

Denver is ditching its Flock arrays, but that wont improve privacy or law enforcement behavior if it just gets replaced with a different brand.

The airport said the person jumped a perimeter fence and isn’t believed to have been an airport employee.

Oh man! I think they're specifically avoiding saying how this person died, but if there was engine fire...

On Friday? April 16?

I've lived here many years and yet somehow, this still surprises me.

ETA: Today is Thursday. But the forecast for tomorrow includes snow.

But how do you hack a walk signal? City officials said they fell victim to a common mistake: Failing to change the default password.

“These crosswalk push-buttons were newly installed,” explained public works spokesperson Nancy Kuhn in a statement to Denverite and other media.

The devices were “still bagged and with their factory settings,” including a default password “that we now have learned is easy to find online.” The push-buttons weren’t meant to be turned on yet, but had recently been connected to power.
